Hey, I’m the studio owner! I’ve been piercing since 2016 and my main goal has always been to give every client safe piercings in a welcoming environment. I love helping people find a piece of jewellery they’ll truly love and wear for years to come. I specialise in ear styling, and my favourite part is sourcing unique jewellery and gemstones for each client to create a one-of-a-kind lool.
I take pride in educating, helping clients to understand the correlation between anatomy and jewellery. It’s an investment, something they can treasure forever. I enjoy doing “off-the-menu” piercings, large gauge, mantis, transverse lobe. I wanted to create a space where piercing gets the care it deserves, rather than being treated as a background service.
Heart of Gold is designed to be a relaxing space, not just for clients but for our selfs too! When we take care of ourselves, we give the best care to our clients. I want expand our jewellery collection & further my education in gemmology, gemstone grading, and jewellery making. When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me at the gym, DnB / techno rave, or watching anime with my cat 🐱

My life in piercing began with the 20+ piercings I accumulated over the years, until I decided I wanted to be the person holding the needles. Born and raised in Portugal, I returned to my home country to complete an apprenticeship under Suvi, one of the founding members of the APP. After finishing my training, I moved to Bristol and was fortunate enough to meet Vikka through Instagram.
We’ve been working together happily ever since! My favourite piercings are the vertical labret and multiple conch piercings, I think they’re very cool! I love piercing curation, creating a well-organised plan! My favourite jewellery brands are Local Natives, I believe the quality and workmanship are unmatched, Beckett’s Bazaar when it comes to large-gauge titanium pieces, he’s the best!
In my downtime, I practice pole dancing, pottery & activism for Bristol Apartheid Free Zone. I work as a chef for Plantuguese, Bristol’s only vegan Portuguese restaurant! I want to evolve within this amazing industry, attend classes and worldwide events, becoming a knowledgeable professional for clients & friends kind enough to trust me with their skin to adorn.

I mainly focus on minimalistic designs, especially animals (I just really love them). You can come to me with your own idea, or pick something from my designs :) I always have plenty to choose from. I can work in different styles like fine line, dotwork, or even traditional, but honestly, my favourite is still simple, clean, minimalistic pieces done with thicker lines.
My approach is pretty straightforward - I work fast but without compromising on quality. I really value both my time and yours, so sessions with me usually don’t take hours but you still get a clean, well done tattoo. Outside of work, I’m a big nature person. I love animals and try to get out for hikes and little adventures whenever I can. It’s definitely something that inspires my work too.
